Recently, I installed VMware ESXi server and I tried to install a CentOS Linux guest from my laptop running Microsoft Windows 10. I witnessed an issue where I could not get the full console of the virtual machine. When I checked online, there were suggestions to check whether VMware tools are installed properly; however, in my case, I was facing the issue even before installing the operating system. - Right click on the
VMware vSphere Clientshortcut - Select
Properties - Go to
Compatibilitytab - Under the
Settingssection, ensure to enable the checkboxDisable display scaling on high DPI settings - Press the
OKbutton
